An ordering website for cooks in Colorado

First month $19.99 on Store or Plus through December 31, 2026, then Store is $50 a month with a 3.5% platform fee on card orders. Plus is $100 a month with a 2% platform fee on card orders. A cook’s own domain is $20 setup plus $25 a year on either plan (.com, .net, .org, or .us). Stripe’s card-processing fee is separate. Pay-at-pickup has no KitchenCheckout fee. Cancel anytime online.

You are responsible for permits, labelling, allergen disclosure, and sales-tax obligations. Rules vary by state and city. KitchenCheckout is the ordering website. It does not issue permits. Card payments are processed by Stripe.

What the state page said

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment cottage-foods page, opened October 7, 2026, is the current program page. It lists non-potentially-hazardous foods that can qualify and foods that do not, including meat, cream, custard, meringue, buttercream unless it is made with ghee or vegetable oil, sauces, and beverages. Do not treat a later law that is not on this page as the rule you can use today.

That page requires training (one of three options it lists), packaging and labeling, and a point-of-sale placard. It says products cannot be labeled allergen-free, and that organic claims need USDA National Organic Program certification. Sales are directly to an informed end consumer in Colorado, not to restaurants or grocery stores. The page says internet sales are allowed without interstate commerce.

The page’s net-revenue note is up to $10,000 per product type (its muffin example). It says income and sales tax apply and points to the Colorado Department of Revenue. KitchenCheckout does not give tax advice. Confirm the current page and your city or county before you sell.
