Terms of service

KitchenCheckout is software for food businesses. We host your ordering website and related tools. We are not a restaurant, not a courier, and not the merchant of record for food sold through your store.

You are the food business. You are responsible for cottage-food and health rules, permits, allergen notices, sales tax configuration, and the food itself. You refund food orders. Chargebacks on food go to your connected Stripe account.

The subscription ($50 Store / $100 Store Plus) is billed monthly to you. Cancel anytime; service runs through the paid period. Custom design is a separate scoped job.

Card food orders are processed through Stripe Connect to your account. KitchenCheckout takes a platform fee of 3.5% on Store and 2% on Plus, calculated on the order total. Stripe's processing fees are charged by Stripe and are not the platform fee. You connect Stripe from kitchen admin — not from the public storefront.

We may suspend a storefront for nonpayment, abuse, stolen photos, prohibited foods, or a health-department flag. Data is kept 90 days after a closed account for reactivation.

Subdomains on kitchencheckout.com remain our infrastructure. Custom domains you connect still run on our app. You may not resell the template as an agency product.

SMS is opt-in. STOP works. Marketing texts to eaters go out in your kitchen's name, not ours.
